There are many new pictures in the "Family & Friends" galleries that are regularly copied over from our Whatsapp group as they get added there. Enjoy them as well.

Many of our friends pooled money (roughly around 2.8 lakhs INR) to install an LED signage at the GCE Tirunelveli campus on behalf of our 1985 batch. An LED signage vendor was selected and the LED panel was installed at the GCE Nellai campus in June/2016.

There are two different WhatsApp groups named "The Achievers" and "Care & Share" for our GCE1985 batch and they are actively being used. The first group is mostly for general social exchange and the second group is for caring and sharing with our GCE batchmates who are not well settled in life due to health issues or other unexpected life difficulties. From 2016 to 2024, our friends have provided direct monetary help to four other friends in need with a generous sum of 30 lakhs rupees. Way to go Care & Share. Everyone is encouraged to take part in the discussions happening in these two WhatsApp groups and contribute both intellectually and materially according to your ability.

On July/11/2017, our dear friend K.Vaitheeswaran published his book titled "Failing to Succeed", a true story about the life of his first ever e-Commerce company for the consumer market in India. Many of our friends’ children are getting married and some of them have already made such friends as grandparents. That is so cool.

Starting in 2023, a steady stream of our friends are beginning to retire from their regular jobs to move on to the next phase in their lives. That is so wonderful.
